Almond Nut Wheel

Ingredients:
1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
dash salt
1 TB light Karo syrup

Preparation/Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Bring to hard boil stirring constantly. Continue cooking until light golden brown in color. Pour into well buttered 8-inch or 9-inch cake pan. Cool completely. Turn out and break into bite-size pieces.
